Here at Coastal Kitchen we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full Time Line Cook (Mornings, Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays) to join our vibrant and fast paced culinary team with exceptional growth potential. As a key contributor to our kitchen operations, you will prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, creativity, and attention to food safety standards. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items with efficiency, consistency, and attention to detail, ensuring each dish meets quality standards.
- Utilize advanced cooking techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and food preparation to create flavorful dishes.
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures rigorously to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Manage high-volume production during peak hours while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
- Support food production processes including food handling, portioning, and plating for both dine-in and catering services.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong background in restaurant or fine dining environments with experience in food industry standards is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency in food preparation techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and general cooking skills.
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with food safety management practices.
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and proper food handling protocols essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in high-volume settings while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior kitchen experience involving food production, food service, and culinary tasks is required.
