Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items accordingly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu innovation by experimenting with flavors and presentation styles.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy hours or events like banquets and catering functions.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards by creating a welcoming environment for all guests.
- Handle cash handling duties efficiently while maintaining accuracy in financial transactions.
- Assist in training new staff members on POS procedures, drink preparation, and customer service expectations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender with strong cocktail mixing skills and beverage knowledge.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in high-volume settings while maintaining quality service.
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, craft beer, mixology techniques, and beverage recipe development.
- Previous experience working in fine dining establishments or hospitality industry settings preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly.
- Food safety certification or knowledge of food handling practices required.
- Ability to process cash transactions accurately using retail math principles including basic math skills.
- Experience in food service, banquet operations, catering, or retail math is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills for managing bar inventory, food safety standards, and multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: $23.98 - $55.00 per hour
