FRONT DESK / TREATMENT COORDINATOR
Experienced Dental Front Desk / Treatment Coordinator — Long Island Group Practice
We're a growing two-location dental group on Long Island (Mineola and Plainview) looking for an experienced front desk professional to join our team. If you love patients, take pride in a full schedule, and know how to walk a patient through a treatment plan with confidence, we want to meet you.
This is not an entry-level role. You'll be the front line for our patients and a key driver of practice production. We've invested in the systems and technology to set you up for success (Eaglesoft, Dental Intel, Overjet, and a strong back-office insurance team) so you can focus on what you do best: building patient relationships and keeping the schedule full.
What you'll do:
- Greet and check patients in and out with warmth and professionalism
- Present treatment plans, answer financial questions, and help patients move forward with care
- Manage the schedule proactively — confirm, reschedule, fill open time, and protect production
- Handle inbound calls, schedule new patients, and convert inquiries into booked appointments
- Coordinate with our back-office insurance team to ensure clean handoffs
- Follow up on unscheduled treatment, recall, and reactivation lists
- Collect copays and balances at the time of service
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years of dental front desk experience (treatment coordinating experience strongly preferred)
- Comfort with treatment presentation and financial conversations
- Strong communication skills and a calm, friendly demeanor — even on busy days
- Experience with Open Dental a plus
- Reliable, accountable, and team-oriented
What we offer:
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
- Paid time off and paid holidays
- Health benefits
- A supportive owner who is invested in your growth
- A practice culture that values kindness, accountability, and getting better every day
If you're ready for a long-term home with a practice that takes care of its team, we'd love to hear from you.
