Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately processing customer payments, providing exceptional customer service, answering incoming calls, and ensuring the front counter operates efficiently. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment!
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Early morning shift: 5:00 AM – 1:15 PM
- Occasional weekend shifts may be required during the holiday season.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process cash, credit card, and other forms of payment.
- Process invoices and obtain customer signatures when required.
- Contact customers to collect payment information for first-time orders and any unpaid orders before delivery or pickup.
- Update customer account information, including address and credit card expiration date changes.
- Balance daily cash and credit card receipts, complete end-of-day reports, and prepare accurate closing documentation.
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally, direct calls to the appropriate department, and respond to or forward voicemail messages as needed.
- Report customer concerns, payment issues, and related matters to the Office Manager.
- Provide a welcoming, friendly, and positive customer experience by answering questions and assisting customers with their needs.
- Support front counter sales and provide relief for other team members when needed.
- Open the store on time and close the store after the last customer has been served.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked front counter area.
Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office 365 and point-of-sale or business management software.
- Basic math skills and confidence handling cash and balancing transactions.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply! Fluency in Spanish or another language is considered a strong asset.
- 2-3 years cashiering perfered

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
