The Position
An À La Carte Server, or just ‘Server’, is responsible for our dining room service and upkeep of day-to-day activities.
This position is responsible for providing a high quality of service and attention to detail with regards to creating a hospitable environment for our members.
Someone in this position will take orders, serve tables, upkeep their dining space(s), and help with other jobs pertaining to the clubhouse.
This position often is cross trained on our events and banquet responsibilities as well.
- Note: The Kansas City Country Club is a non-tipping establishment. The role described is paid an hourly wage.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Education or Equivalent
- Minimum age of 18 (must be 18 to serve alcohol)
What You Should Be Able to Do
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Be able to retain information with regards to your tables and space(s)
- Be positive and able to converse easily with others
- You should be able to work evenings on the weekends
- You should be able to work any and all Holidays required
