Summary -The Maintenance Supervisor leads maintenance technicians, coordinates preventive maintenance activities, minimizes downtime, and supports continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. Oversight of daily maintenance operations. Ensure production equipment, utilities, and facility systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with food safety, USDA, OSHA, and company standards.
Schedule - 1st Shift
Essential Functions:
- Supervise day-to-day maintenance activities across the plant.
- Ensure proper operation of production-related equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation issues.
- Support installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety related procedures and require maintenance personnel to do the same, always adhering to all company and OSHA policies and procedures.
- Maintain inventory of production equipment parts utilizing the EAM software.
- Make timely repairs and maintain all equipment to the highest operating standards to avoid any “down time” and loss of productivity.
- Oversight of the preventative maintenance program and ensure proper tracking of all repaired/inspected machinery.
- Supervise, train, and coach maintenance staff across all shifts.
- Adhere to all company GMP’s, SOP’s, SQF and USDA policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Management, Production, QA, Sanitation, and outside vendor teams to improve operational performance.
Minimum of a HS diploma. Technical degree preferred. 5+ years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or USDA regulated environment. 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
