We're looking for a responsible fun team of talented bakers in our café and bakery. The ideal candidate is someone who is flexible, responsible, and detail oriented. You must be comfortable working in a commercial kitchen environment. Shifts on Thursday, Friday, Saturday 12am start. A successful candidate for this position will be able to read and execute recipes, responsible for keeping the kitchen organized and clean. Can work alone or with the team and multi-task.
Specifically we are looking for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, some Sundays possible 12am to 6 or 8am. Mixing and proofing dough, and frying and baking Donuts and Pastries.
Responsibilities:
- Mix, proof, cut dough. Finish donuts. Bake cakes and cupcakes
- Wash dishes and utensils in a sanitary manner.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain food preparation areas, including floors, tables and equipment, as clean and orderly.
- Keep equipment, including ovens, mixers, and other appliances clean.
- Perform non-food tasks such as sweeping and mopping floors, polishing glass display cases, cleaning bathrooms, and cleaning refrigerators.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
