Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Cuisine in managing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service delivery
- Supervise and motivate kitchen staff to ensure smooth shift management and high performance standards
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to recipes and menu specifications
- Coordinate with the team to accommodate special dietary needs and maintain compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage inventory control, monitor stock levels, and place orders to ensure optimal supply without waste
- Lead catering orders by supervising food handling, setup, and presentation to uphold our reputation for excellence
- Implement food safety protocols diligently across all kitchen activities, ensuring compliance with health standards and sanitation practices
Requirements
- Proven experience in fine dining environments with strong background in food production and restaurant management
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading culinary teams in high-volume settings
- Extensive knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation regulations
- Skilled in menu planning, catering coordination, and inventory management
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage shifts effectively and foster team collaboration
- Experience with open-kitchen service, dietary accommodations, and catering operations is highly desirable
- Excellent cooking skills across various cuisines with a focus on presentation and quality assurance
- Background in hospitality or food service management within the food industry is preferred
