About us
Top Dog Texas, LLC is a premium dog training company located in Burleson. We specialize in training pets and diabetic alert dogs.
Top Dog Texas is hiring for new kennel technicians/doggie daycare attendants. We're looking for individuals that are passionate about working with dogs, hard working, and dependable. Top Dog is known for being the premier training location in North Texas, and our kennel technicians play a key role in the well being of the dogs that are being trained.
The good stuff: We get to play with dogs every single day. We get to see their behaviors improve which means an improved quality of life for them because now their family can enjoy them more. We only work with dogs currently in or having completed training with us. This means the only unknown dogs we interact with, are those just starting training. We are very structured with the dogs and have high expectations of our boarding and daycare visitors to maintain their training both with human and dog interactions. This means playtime is highly regulated and safe for the humans and the dogs! If you are looking to get in to the dog training world, this is your foot in the door! If you are happy to stay on the kennel technician side of it, that's great too!
The bad stuff: This is a dirty job! Working with dogs means we get down and dirty. We're cleaning kennels, scooping poop, feeding, watering, etc., We have to work holidays and weekends because the dogs need cared for every single day. We work no matter what the weather is doing so sometimes we're hot and sweaty, other times we're cold and wet from the rain. In the end it's all worth it though because we get to see how much the dogs have improved and grown!
