We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently processing transactions. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Maintain knowledge of store promotions, products, and services to provide informed recommendations.
- Stock shelves and ensure that merchandise is displayed attractively and organized.
- Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and sales.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store environment.
- Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism, ensuring a resolution that aligns with company policies.
- Utilize retail math skills to manage cash handling and ensure accurate financial transactions.
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when answering calls or assisting customers over the phone.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail sales environment and Gas Station, Convenience store is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of retail math for accurate transaction processing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
