Position Summary
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will implement individualized treatment programs developed by a BCBA, provide direct 1:1, 2:1, or group therapy, collect and record data, and support learners in achieving meaningful goals. Most importantly, you will build positive relationships, create engaging learning experiences, and help children thrive.
This position reports directly to a Clinical Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
Promote Learner Success
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans
- Deliver direct instruction and skill acquisition programs
- Support learner growth while maintaining dignity and respect
- Use creative, engaging, and evidence-based approaches to intervention
Ensure Quality Service Delivery
- Collect, record, and graph behavioral and skill acquisition data
- Maintain accurate documentation and electronic records
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Support Families and Team Collaboration
- Foster positive relationships with learners and families
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Contribute to learner satisfaction, progress, and retention
Physical Requirements
- Provide physical guidance when necessary
- Keep pace with active children, including running when needed
- Bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Assist with daily living skills, hygiene, and toileting as appropriate
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
Preferred
- Current BACB Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential
- Nevada State Certification
- Experience working with children
- Computer proficiency and experience with electronic data collection
