This is a part-time (7-28 hours per week) sales-driven role that requires engaging with customers to promote and sell various brands. As a Sales Promoter, you will work independently to drive product awareness and sales, ensuring customers have a positive experience. Success in this role is measured by sales performance and adherence to company guidelines. Sales Promoters must be comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment with daily sales expectations.
Job Responsibilities

Proactively approach and interact with Costco members to promote and sell products.

Maintain all compliance requirements while representing the company in a professional and engaging manner.

Delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for Costco members,

Track and maintain accurate inventory of promotional products and supplies.

Ensure product displays are organized, well-maintained, and visually appealing.

Regularly check and respond to communications from the manager regarding scheduling and updates.

Participate in scheduled compliance calls with the team and/or regional manager.

Work independently in a self-directed environment without direct supervision.
Work Assignment Expectations:
This is considered a floating position. Sales Promoters may be scheduled to work at multiple Costco locations within a 30-mile radius of their home address, based on business needs and availability. All locations within this radius are considered regular worksites for commuting purposes. Mileage reimbursement and travel time compensation will only apply in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local law, including when assigned to a location more than 30 miles from your home

Physical Requirements and Essential Functions

Lift and carry up to 30 pounds multiple times per shift (e.g., product boxes, demonstration supplies, a folding table).

Transport a 2’ x 4’ folding table from the parking lot to the store and back.

Stand for extended periods while engaging with customers.

Perform physical tasks such as setting up and breaking down demo stations.

Bonus structure may vary, and the weekly bonus structure will be sent out every week.

Shift days and hours vary weekly depending on demo/club availability and your sales performance.

Promoters will earn bonuses once quota(s) is/are achieved for units sold during the demo shift.

Bonuses will be capped at 100 units of the same item daily.

Purchasing items to meet sales quotas is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
