Scottsdale Golf Performance (SGP) is the newest addition to a growing network of elite golf performance facilities with established locations in Seattle, WA and Vancouver, BC. We take a proven, athlete-first approach to helping golfers move better, feel better, and play better.
Our Facilities:
The SGP facility is a brand new and state-of-the-art space, outfitted with Rogue equipment, a Keiser machine, squat racks, turf area, sled, cable machine, bands, and a variety of dumbbells. Our staff enjoys exclusive access to our Trackman iO simulator for both personal and client use.
Position Start Date: August 2026
Role: Strength and Conditioning Coach
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations for new clients, including interviews to understand their history and goals, physical screenings/tests, and swing assessments.
- Design and implement customized training programs to help clients reach their specific objectives.
- Treat clients with the utmost care and attention, akin to family and PGA Tour Professionals.
- Collaborate seamlessly with other golf, fitness, and medical professionals to enhance client progress.
- Utilize CoachMePlus software for efficient communication and progress tracking with clients and their professional team.
- Perform essential administrative tasks, including client follow-up, team communication, and fitness plan development.
- Uphold professional standards in demeanor and appearance, aligning with SGP's Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
- Supervise and mentor SGP interns.
- Build strong, personal relationships with clients, fostering trust and rapport.
- Guide clients efficiently and effectively towards their goals.
- Execute additional duties as necessary or as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology from an accredited institution.
- 2-3 years of relevant S&C coaching experience.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- A charismatic and engaging personality.
- A deep passion for golf and its culture.
Desired Qualifications:
- NSCA CSCS certification.
- TPI Certification.
- Prior experience working with high-net-worth individuals and/or professional athletes.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The Golf Performance Coach role is active and requires regular communication. It involves frequent use of hands, physical exercise, and movement. The position demands standing, walking, sitting, and reaching. Occasionally, you may need to lift/move items up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, and adjustable focus. The work environment typically has a moderate noise level.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive compensation range: $55,000 - $80,000 including benefits.
- Annual Continuing Education Stipend of $2,000.
