The Willey & Associates Agency (an American Family Insurance Agency) is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and skilled Service Support Person to join our team. As our Service Support Person, you will 1) ensure the seamless operation of our office, 2) provide support for motivated insurance sales professionals, and 3) earn bonuses and profit sharing with personal and Agency sales success. Compensation Package
- Full-time
- No income cap:
- Base pay of $20-$27/hour (negotiable, based on experience)
- Cross-selling bonuses
- Agency profit sharing

Qualifications
- Minimum 5-years of experience in the Insurance Sector
- Professional in-person and over-the-phone verbal skills and excellent written skills
- Insurance database management experience
- Experience with explaining/selling insurance policies, claims, bundling, cross selling, etc.
- Computer skills: MS Office programs or similar
- Licensed in Property/Casualty Insurance in Missouri (before your starting date)
- Licensed in Life Insurance in Missouri (within 90 days of hiring)
- Must pass American Family Insurance's background check.
Responsibilities
Customer Service As the first point-of-contact with our clients visiting the office, over the phone, or through electronic media, the exceptional Service Support Person (SSP) provides welcoming and professional assistance by 1) addressing client inquiries promptly, 2) providing information as needed, and 3) offering possible solutions to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The professional SSP maintains a clean, welcoming environment for our clients and guests.
Sales Support The effective Service Support Personal assists the insurance sales team by 1) coordinating appointments, 2) managing client files, 3) clearly communicating relative information, and 4) proactively cross-selling current and new clients. The SSP also manages office supplies and the marketing materials. Occasionally, the SSP will be asked to provide support for marketing/sales events held in the community.
Policy Coordination The detail-minded Service Support Person works with our clients to accurately and efficiently process policy applications, modifications, renewals, and claims, while maintaining thorough records and documentation.
Agent Support The experienced Service Support Person will use their knowledge of the Insurance Sector to assist the principle agent as requested; to include, but not limited to 1) alerting him of potential pitfalls, 2) identifying obstacles to efficient Agency performance, and 3) providing creative, possible solutions to keep the Agency on a positive-growth trajectory.
Requirements

- Experience Minimum of five years of proven experience within the Insurance Sector.

- Tech-savvy Proficient in office management software (such as MS Office®) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platforms.
- Problem-solving Analytical mindset with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
- Licensed Must have or obtain a Missouri Property & Casualty Insurance license (before your start date) and a Missouri Life Insurance license (within 90 days of being hired).
- Education High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor of Business Administration degree (or related field) is a plus but not required.
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
