Rainforest Distribution is seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Area Sales Manager to grow our business throughout Central and North Florida. (Tampa, Orlando, Melbourne Jacksonville)
Rainforest Distribution is a leading distributor of premium natural, organic, refrigerated, frozen, and specialty food brands. We partner with hundreds of independent retailers, regional grocery chains, and natural food stores while representing many of the industry's fastest-growing brands.

What You Will Do
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and growing a territory by partnering with natural, organic, and specialty grocery retailers, while also expanding Rainforest Distribution's presence within convenience stores, hospitality, healthcare, universities, corporate dining, and other retail channels. You will identify new business opportunities, grow existing accounts, and represent a diverse portfolio of premium food and beverage brands.
Responsibilities include:
- Prospect and open new customer accounts
- Grow sales within existing accounts
- Present new products and promotional opportunities
- Build strong relationships with store owners, buyers, and managers
- Execute merchandising, displays, product launches, and store resets
- Monitor inventory levels and reduce out-of-stock situations
- Work closely with supplier partners and internal teams
- Track sales activity using CRM and reporting tools
- Travel throughout Central and North Florida visiting accounts daily
- Availability to stay over night in an area to optimize account visits if needed
Ideal Candidate

- Self-motivated and highly organized
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Passionate about food, beverages, and the natural products industry
- Strong at building long-term customer relationships
- Excellent communicator with strong follow-up skills
- Results-driven and motivated by sales growth
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales, grocery, merchandising, or food distribution experience
- Natural or specialty food industry experience preferred
- Outside sales experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Comfortable learning CRM and sales software
- Must own a smartphone

Pay: $52,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
