Licensed Esthetician

We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and client-focused Licensed Esthetician to join our growing skin and aesthetics clinic in Santa Monica.

Your expertise in professional skincare treatments and products will help clients achieve their individual skin goals while providing a welcoming, relaxing, and personalized experience.

Responsibilities
* Perform a variety of professional skincare treatments, with a strong focus on HydraFacial treatments, customized facials, chemical peels, and advanced skin treatments within the scope of a California Esthetician license.
* Confidently perform HydraFacial treatments and customize each treatment based on the client’s skin type, concerns, and individual goals.
* Conduct detailed client consultations and professional skin analyses to assess skin concerns and recommend appropriate treatments.
* Create personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s skincare goals.
* Educate clients on professional skincare treatments, products, and appropriate at-home skincare routines to help maximize and maintain their results.
* Work confidently with professional skincare products, including SkinCeuticals, and provide knowledgeable, personalized product recommendations.
* Maintain strict sanitation, hygiene, and safety protocols throughout all treatments and procedures to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.
* Build strong, long-term client relationships through exceptional customer service, clear communication, and a personalized approach to care.
* Answer client questions regarding skincare treatments, HydraFacial, chemical peels, skin concerns, and professional skincare products.
* Support retail skincare sales through genuine, educational, and client-focused product recommendations.
* Maintain accurate client treatment notes and records.
* Stay informed on current skincare treatments, HydraFacial protocols, professional skincare products, techniques, and industry trends.
Qualifications & Skills
* Must hold a valid California Esthetician license.
* Previous experience working as an Esthetician in a medical spa, skin clinic, aesthetics clinic, or professional skincare environment is preferred.
* HydraFacial experience is highly preferred.
* Experience performing professional facials and chemical peels.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of skincare, skin types, skin concerns, and professional skincare products.
* Experience conducting client consultations and professional skin analyses.
* Strong understanding of facial anatomy and skin health.
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to quickly build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships.
* Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices within a professional clinic setting.
* Effective communication skills for client consultations, skincare education, retail sales, and product recommendations.
* Passionate about the skincare and aesthetics industry with a desire to continue learning and developing professionally.
