Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong Instrument and electrical background.
Responsibilities:
- Teach an Instrument Tech certification course.(Training will be provided on how to teach the class)
- Be knowledgeable on the following transmitter: Pressure, Temperature (RTD, TC), Flow (DP), Level (DP), Control Valves, I/P transducers.
- Be knowledgeable on the following pieces of equipment: Level switches, Pressure switches, DP switches, relays, solenoids, shutdown valves, and Plc wiring.
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of instrumentation equipment on racks for teaching students.
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy
- Detect malfunctions using test equipment
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience teaching students online and in person.
- Mechanical knowledge of equipment
- Experience with instrumentation and industrial electrical work
- Ability to work with 24VDC systems
- Proficiency in calibrating instruments accurately
