Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Part Time Driver to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck, with no CDL requirement, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across over-the-road (OTR) driving routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, checking for mechanical issues, safety hazards, and compliance with DOT regulations
- Document delivery activities accurately, including load & unload records, delivery logs, and incident reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery status, and any unforeseen issues during transit
Additional Requirements
- Proven experience in delivery driving or truck driving.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient deliveries
- Some Saturday work will be involved. Rate is double time for weekends.
Schedule
- Schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, with alternating Saturdays
- Our loop of driving is up to North New Jersey, and back, with some stops in between
- Year-end bonus annually

Pay: $19.61 - $19.62 per hour
