Wilson Care and Rehab in Wilson, KS. is looking to hire a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team for a 12-hour day or night shift (6:00 – 6:00 ) in our skilled nursing facility.
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $18.00 – $19.80 per hour (based on experience), along with a $2,500 sign-on bonus, shift differentials, and a full benefits package for eligible employees. Additional incentives include a weekend shift differential of $3.00 per hour and CARES differential of $2.00 per hour for full-time employees. This position follows a consistent rotating schedule:
Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
You will enjoy every other weekend as a 3-day weekend, never work more than 3 consecutive days, and have 7 days off every 14-day cycle.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
- Take and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output as directed
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies and state regulations
- Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members through compassionate care and communication
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance
- Assist with restorative care and encourage resident independence whenever possible
- Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines at all times
