Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled CNC Turning Programmer to join our team, focusing on the development and refinement of precision-machined parts within our high-standard production facility. You will play a key role in the full lifecycle of machining projects, from initial programming and process optimization to resolving technical challenges during production. We are seeking a professional with extensive expertise in precision turning who thrives when tasked with creating complex, tight-tolerance components.
Core Duties-
Develop, refine, and enhance CNC programs for multi-axis turning equipment.

Utilize CAM software to generate programs for new projects and implement necessary adjustments.

Create effective machining workflows to minimize cycle times and boost overall output.

Choose appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and workholding setups to ensure peak operational efficiency.

Execute machine prove-outs while identifying and resolving programming or machining errors.

Analyze blueprints, CAD files, GD&T requirements, and specific customer documentation.

Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and production departments to ensure all components adhere to strict quality benchmarks.

Facilitate first-piece inspections and drive process enhancements to minimize waste and operational delays.

Keep detailed records of program documentation and setup instructions.

Contribute to ongoing manufacturing process development and continuous improvement projects.
Required Qualifications-
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in CNC turning programming.

Proficiency in using CAM platforms like Mastercam, Esprit, GibbsCAM, NX, or equivalent software.

Deep understanding of G-Code, tool selection, and the fundamentals of feeds and speeds.

Background in operating multi-axis lathes, including live tooling and Y-axis capabilities.

Proven ability to interpret complex blueprints and GD&T standards.

Demonstrated success in machining components with tight tolerances in precision environments.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication abilities.
Preferred Experience-
Programming complex multi-axis turning centers equipped with live tooling.

Practical experience working with Swiss-style lathes.

Background in high-precision sectors such as aerospace, defense, or medical manufacturing.

Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
