Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)

Overview:
Our Behavioral Health Technician role supports youth survivors of trafficking and complex trauma by promoting emotional, behavioral, and personal development. Our focus is on implementing treatment plans, building daily living skills, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support youth survivors of trafficking and complex trauma
-
Implement treatment plans and support resident progress
-
Promote emotional and behavioral development
-
Teach and reinforce daily living skills to build independence

Ensure resident safety and provide crisis intervention as needed

Maintain accurate documentation and records
-
Transport residents to appointments and approved destinations using a company vehicle
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in a behavioral health or related setting

Experience working with adolescents or adults with trauma histories
-
Experience in a residential or facility-based setting
-
Ability to implement treatment plans and support resident progress

Ability to work within the required service area
