We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for nurturing young minds. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for preschool-aged children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote early childhood learning.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and develop their skills.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Provide individualized attention to children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Conduct assessments to monitor children's development and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom space that meets health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
Requirements
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in preschool settings or nannying is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and caregiving practices.
- Familiarity with special education principles and working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage young learners effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues positively.
- A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their growth in a nurturing environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
