Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Termite Production Technician to join our pest control team. This role involves performing termite treatment procedures, managing pest control equipment, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in pest control, lawn care, farming, or related fields, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This position offers an opportunity to develop specialized skills in termite management while contributing to the protection of residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and apply termite treatment solutions using appropriate pest control methods and equipment
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and efficiently during treatment procedures
- Conduct inspections to identify termite activity and assess treatment needs
- Maintain and calibrate pest control equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with the installation of bait stations or other termite prevention systems as required
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations during all phases of work
- Document treatment activities accurately and report findings to supervisors
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment safely
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred for transportation purposes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary
- Willingness to learn new techniques related to termite management and pest control procedures
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screenings as required
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
