As a CDL Truck Driver, you'll operate a variety of vehicles including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, transporting freight efficiently and professionally. Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Plan and execute over-the-road (OTR) driving routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across regional or national destinations.
- Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring proper handling of hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods in compliance with hazardous materials regulations.
- Transport a variety of cargo such as freight, automotive transportation units, or logistics cargo handling items while maintaining the integrity of the load during transit.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to verify safety features, load security, and compliance with safety standards before departure.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or any issues encountered during transit.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with endorsements for tractor-trailer operation;
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or route driving with a focus on freight transportation.
- Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures along with manual handling skills for logistics cargo handling.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and route planning for efficient OTR routes.
- Understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols related to dangerous goods transport.
- Ability to operate various types of trucks including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and specialized equipment as needed.
- Strong commitment to safety standards and the ability to adhere strictly to trucking laws governing hours of service and load securement.

Pay: $1,450.00 - $2,200.00 per week
