Job Title: Automotive Technician (Flat Rate)
Location: Cardington, OH or Mt. Vernon, OH
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No Weekends!)
Pay Scale: $35.00 – $45.00 per Flat Rate Hour (Based on Experience & Certifications)

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostics & Repair: Perform thorough vehicle inspections, accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and execute repairs to high quality standards.
- Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI): Perform detailed digital inspections to clearly communicate vehicle needs to service advisors and customers.
- Efficiency & Accuracy: Maintain high productivity levels while completing repairs right the first time to minimize comebacks.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines to maintain an efficient shop environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience as an Automotive Technician in an independent repair shop or dealership setting.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of general automotive repair, engine performance, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and diagnostics.
- Tools: Must possess your own professional tool set appropriate for your experience level.
- Certifications: ASE certifications are strongly encouraged and tied directly to base flat-rate pay increases.
- Valid Driver’s License: Clean driving record required to test drive customer vehicles.
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
