As a server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking and delivering orders, and ensuring that guests have a positive dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Provide information about the menu, specials, and make recommendations accordingly.

Take accurate food and drink orders from guests, ensuring that special requests and dietary/allergy restrictions are communicated to the kitchen.

Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure that orders are delivered accurately and meet the restaurant’s quality standards.

Monitor and attend to guests’ needs throughout their meal. Refill drinks, clear empty plates, and ensure that tables are clean and organized.

Present checks to guests, process payments, and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.

Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues with professionalism and efficiency. Escalate any unresolved issues to management as needed.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the server station, dining area, and other workspaces. Ensure that all health and safety standards are followed.

Assist with opening and closing duties and sidework as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:
-
Must be at least 18 years of age.
-
Ability to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash and credit transactions.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certifications:

TABC Certification for serving alcohol.

Texas Food Handlers Certification.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests and provide an exceptional dining experience.

Clear and effective communication skills for taking orders, interacting with guests, and coordinating with team members.

- Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for prolonged periods, move at a rapid pace, bend, twist, and lift products weighing up to 35 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.

Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems preferred.
