Senior Designer
Experience Required: Minimum 10 years
We are seeking an experienced Senior Designer with at least 10 years of experience in the design and development of process, flow, and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), as well as vessels, skids, and piping systems. Candidates should have experience working with a variety of materials, including steel, fiberglass, and thermoplastics.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of design experience in industrial process systems.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (required).
- Experience with 3D design/modeling software is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of process, flow, and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
- Experience designing vessels, skids, and piping systems.
- Familiarity with multiple piping and construction materials, including steel, fiberglass, and thermoplastics.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with project engineers to develop detailed engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Create and revise process, flow, and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
- Prepare detailed layouts for vessels, skids, piping systems, and related equipment.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards, project specifications, and applicable industry requirements.
- Maintain drawing revisions and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Archive and manage record copies of electronic drawings in accordance with established company procedures and standards.
- Support project teams by providing design solutions and technical drafting expertise.
This position requires a highly organized professional capable of producing accurate, high-quality design documentation while working effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
