Valor Steel is building a new structural steel fabrication shop and looking for skilled welders who take real pride in their craftsmanship.
What You’ll Do
- Fit and weld structural steel assemblies to precise blueprint specifications
- Perform pulse MIG welding on a variety of steel components
- Read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings and prints
- Fit up components with tight tolerances — accuracy matters, not just speed
- Work closely with QC to ensure welds meet AWS D1.1 standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience with pulse MIG welding
- Strong fitting skills — able to read a print and fit parts accurately to tight tolerances
- A craftsman’s mindset: clean, precise work is a priority, not an afterthought
- Ability to read and interpret structural steel fabrication drawings
- AWS D1.1 qualification (or ability to pass a qualification test)
- Experience with structural steel fabrication preferred
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
