Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and friendly Budtender to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers in selecting the right cannabis products to meet their needs. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring compliance with all regulations related to the sale of cannabis.
Must be able to have flexible Day time and evening schedule:
9am to 5pm
5pm to 11pm
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly manner.
- Educate customers about various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, and concentrates.
- Utilize your knowledge of cannabis to recommend products based on customer preferences and needs.
- Process sales transactions accurately using a cash register and POS system.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed.
- Upsell products by promoting special offers or new arrivals to enhance customer experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and display areas.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash registers.
- Excellent phone etiquette for answering customer inquiries effectively.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is advantageous.
- Experience in supervising or training staff is a plus but not mandatory.
- A passion for cannabis culture and knowledge of various products will enhance your ability to connect with customers.
