Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene to promote independence and dignity.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation, especially for clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces.
- Assist with errands.
- Follow all safety procedures including CPR and first aid protocols to respond effectively during emergencies.
