Position Summary:
A Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, and cleanliness of outdoor areas such as lawns, gardens, parks, and building grounds. This role ensures that landscapes are well-kept, attractive, and in good condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Mow lawns, trim grass, and edge sidewalks and driveways
- Plant, water, fertilize, and maintain flowers, trees, and shrubs
- Remove weeds, leaves, debris, and trash from outdoor areas
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
- Perform basic irrigation system checks and repairs
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers safely, following guidelines
- Maintain outdoor walkways and grounds during all seasons (including snow removal if needed)
- Inspect grounds and report safety hazards or maintenance issues

- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques and plant care
- Ability to operate landscaping tools and machinery safely
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Dependable with good time management skills
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience is a plus
