American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU experience and active ACLS/BLS certifications.

Work setting is a hospital Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Patient ratio of approximately 1:5 (nurse to patients)

Telemetry monitoring and IV starts are core clinical skills utilized in this role

Epic EMR is used for documentation
-
3x12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:30)

Weekday-primary schedule with occasional weekend and rotating holiday requirements

Floating within units of equivalent or lower acuity is required

Active OH or compact RN license required

Current ACLS and BLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required

Two professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; coworker references are not accepted

Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be initiated promptly after contract signing — candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or complete a mailed packet as soon as possible upon receipt

Former employees of this facility are eligible for a travel assignment after a minimum 6-month separation
