Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Housekeeping Rooms Inspector, where your keen eye for cleanliness and dedication to excellence will elevate guest experiences. In this vital role, you will assist the Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the quality and sanitation standards of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring every space meets our high standards for comfort, safety, and hygiene. Your will assist the Housekeeping Supervisor leadership to inspire the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public spaces to ensure adherence to cleanliness, sanitation, and safety regulations
- Supervise and guide housekeeping staff in daily cleaning tasks, including industrial cleaning, laundry, and custodial activities
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and support staff development to maintain high standards of service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Coordinate with management to prioritize room turnovers, special requests, and maintenance issues
- Implement cleaning & sanitation management protocols to uphold hygiene standards across all areas
- Document inspection results, maintenance needs, and safety concerns accurately for reporting purposes
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles within hospitality or commercial environments
- Strong supervisory skills with previous team management or staff supervision experience
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and sanitation procedures
- Excellent communication skills for managerial communication and team leadership
- Ability to enforce safety regulations and manage cleaning & sanitation protocols effectively
- Customer service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Leadership qualities that motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
- Familiarity with laundry operations and hospitality industry standards
- Experience managing cleaning schedules, safety compliance, and quality assurance processes
