American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) position in Brighton, CO, requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of IMC experience.

Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)

7-week travel contract

Floating to other departments may be required based on business need

On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Charting via Epic EMR

Active CO or compact RN license (no pending licenses)

Minimum 1 year of IMC or intermediate care nursing experience required

Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale — must not expire prior to assignment start

TNCC preferred

ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred

DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for intermediate care patients

Performs health teaching, counseling, and supportive therapies directly or through delegation and supervision

Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment

Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
