We have an immediate opening for an experienced full-time property maintenance handyman.
Primary responsibilities include ground maintenance and plant care, building maintenance and repairs, limited snow plowing, monitoring site safety and appearance, light vehicle, and mechanical care, and various other routine and preventative maintenance tasks to support properties located midway between Boston and Providence.
Secondary responsibilities include periodic airport pickup and drop-off, and transportation support. The candidate should have experience towing small trailers. The successful candidate will be physically fit, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, have experience maintaining buildings and grounds, and possess light carpentry and mechanical maintenance skills.
A valid driver’s license and availability for emergency after-hours calls are required. A two-bedroom single family home and a pick-up truck are available as part of compensation along with a benefits package that includes a retirement plan contribution, BCBS medical plan with 80% of HMO premiums paid for by the company, and paid holidays and vacation time. A pre-employment drug screen is required. All responses must include a resume.
