Job Title: Manufacturing Technician (Overnight)
Location: St. Louis, MO
Type: Contract
Compensation: $24.20/hr
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 6 PM - 6:30 AM Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of machinery to produce a quality product in compliance with established procedures and standards of the Quality System.
- Support and adhere to the COMPANY Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Operate and troubleshoot machinery, including work saver and stand-up/sit-down lifts, utilizing manlifts as needed.
- Perform line changeovers, including cleaning, disassembly, reassembly of equipment, and lubrication.
- Support line performance by working closely with team members to meet line standards and perform preventive maintenance to sustain performance and adhere to production schedules.
- Follow SOPs, change control/validation processes, and established cleaning protocols for GMP compliance.
- Collaborate as a High-Performance Team member to improve equipment utilization, line changeover times, and automation initiatives.
- Complete batch record documentation, monitor Right First-Time results, and track KPIs for continuous improvement.
- Train other Technicians, assist in developing SOPs, and generate measurements for process efficiency and improvements.
- Report safety concerns and hazards immediately and comply with operational safety and environmental permits.
- Utilize SAP to create material requests, transfer orders, perform confirmations, and manage handling units.
- Operate computer applications and demonstrate good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Lift (5-25 lbs) frequently and handle drums, bags, and cases up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Adapt to changing assignments, work independently with minimal supervision, and pursue continuous skill improvement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant technical or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Proficiency in operating machinery and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks regularly.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Team-oriented, flexible, and capable of adapting to changing priorities.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
- Computer literacy and basic project management skills are advantageous.
