As a full-time Bookkeeper, you will work a set schedule that allows some flexibility within your work schedule to be sure your workload supporting multiple clients is performed timely. Attending required monthly and weekly meetings will include team engagement and facilitating your client meetings.
Success will be easy for you if you excel at time management, organizational skills, and master the following processes & procedures. Your day-to-day work will consist of 40% client-facing activities & 60% bookkeeping processes including client interaction and meetings, our daily Team Up, entering payroll journal entries, completing sales adjustments, processing Client’s accounts payable and Client’s accounts receivable, and compiling data and analysis for financial reporting. Bookkeeper's Responsibilities include:
- Processing multiple Clients’ Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable transactions
- Accurately record payments/deposits, expenses, payroll wages, sales & draws into QuickBooks
- Review and correct Client General Ledger entries & Chart of Accounts allocations
- Prepare, Review, and Deliver timely and accurate Client Financial Reports as assigned
- Proactively ensure all process steps are completed accurately and timely
- Meeting or exceeding all Key Performance Indicators as structured
- Meet or exceed all deadlines
- Responsible for bank & account reconciliations for multiple client accounts.
- Compile Budget/Financial Modeling
- Attend, Timely & prepared, meetings with Clients as scheduled
- Serve internal colleagues and external team members, and clients in a positive, professional, and timely manner in all interactions
- Successfully facilitated client project coordination to ensure priority and timely completion.
- Attend, engage and be prepared for our team meetings, monthly & weekly
- Professionally and concurrently utilize company email, project management, and document sharing systems to support our paperless workflows
- Assist in other tasks as assigned
Requirements include:
- 3+ years’ experience in Small Business Bookkeeping, including financial reporting and journal entries
- 3+ years’ experience with facilitating multiple client accounts at the same time
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a remote work environment
- Excel in QuickBooks Online with a minimum of 3 years of experience
- Excellence in self-motivation to meet or exceed priorities consistently
- Excellent at responsive and proactive communications
- Possess a high personal sense of urgency
- High Attention to Detail
Preferred, but not required:
- Experience with Podio, Front, and Sharefile

Benefits and compensation:
This position is eligible for an hourly rate of $20-$22 an hour dependent upon experience. Additional benefits are eligible after 90 days and include bonuses, paid time off, and paid holidays.
