American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a Louisiana or Compact RN license and the ability to work night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.

12-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit in an inpatient hospital setting
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
-
Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
-
Floating required to all inpatient units
-
Alaris Pumps used on the unit
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Block scheduling is not available on this unit
-
Active Louisiana or Compact RN license required
-
Current BLS certification required (must be AHA-issued)

Current ACLS certification required for charge nurse roles (must be AHA-issued)

EKG/telemetry background preferred
-
Less than 2 years of experience will be considered

Must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Candidates must be comfortable with potential emergency team assignments, which may require staying on-site or serving on a relief team during emergency events
