Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator/Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse operations, including the safe operation of various heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks. Your expertise in materials handling and warehouse distribution will ensure smooth shipping and receiving processes, accurate order picking, and proper inventory management. Duties
- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo lifts, and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments
- Conduct heavy lifting and materials handling tasks with mechanical knowledge and proper technique
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately using order picker equipment and warehouse management systems
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments
- Perform equipment repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to ensure optimal operation
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Support warehouse distribution operations by managing inventory levels and conducting regular stock counts
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo’s, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing
- Excellent mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and troubleshooting
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Experience in shipping & receiving procedures along with order picking techniques
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and warehouse supervisors

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
