Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Operate access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors.
- Utilize CCTV surveillance equipment to monitor activity across various areas and identify potential security threats.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting any irregularities, security breaches, or accidents that occur during your shift.
- Perform background checks on visitors or vendors as required, ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations by following established procedures, including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and emergency response protocols.
- Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining safety standards.
Experience
- Prior experience in security or law enforcement is highly desirable, providing familiarity with security procedures and emergency response.
- Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and access control platforms is essential.
- Physical security experience including patrolling, manual handling, heavy lifting, and performing background checks will strengthen your application.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear incident reports and maintain detailed logs is important for accountability.
- Strong understanding of security regulations and compliance requirements ensures adherence to legal standards.
