St. Thomas More Cathedral School is seeking a dynamic elementary grade teacher for the 2026-2027 school year who inspires students and works collaboratively with colleagues. Candidates should be passionate about teaching and have an understanding of how to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all types of learners. Teacher is responsible for creating lesson plans and establishing a safe, nurturing atmosphere for children. Salaries are competitive and commensurate with experience. An ideal candidate has a deep devotion to our Catholic faith, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with parents.
Salary range: Compensation is based on a step pay scale that provides pay based on degree level and years of teaching experience, ranging from $44,500 for Bachelors with less than 3 years of teaching experience to $55,000 for Masters with 10 years of teaching experience, with proration for positions scheduled to work less than 40 hours per week. STM also offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus, a $3,000 Master's bonus and tuition discounts for children who attend the school.
