Cebada Rooftop in Coral Gables is looking to hire experienced Line Cook for their Raw Bar Station experienced preferred with RAW BAR: Ceviches, Crudos, Oysters, But willing to train
Pay based on experience $17 to $22 hour
Responsibilities:
- Work with our executive chef to create new additions to our menu on a seasonal basis
- Help the kitchen with its preparation work before meal service
- Follow all food health and safety requirements
- Assist in the development of kitchen staff by performing periodic performance reviews
- Monitor inventory and order new ingredients as needed
- Set up and stocking raw bar station with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to carry very heavy objects
