Channeled Resources Group is a privately-owned company that is a growing leader in the labeling/coating industry.
Channeled Resources Group is seeking a motivated, tech-savvy, and highly organized individual to join our team as a General Accountant. This role is responsible for supporting day to day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and providing backup support across key accounting functions.
This is a full-time in office until satisfactory training and performance are achieved and approved within (6) months to (1) year; then (3) days remote and (2) days in office afterwards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter, track, and maintain purchase orders to ensure accurate and timely processing
- Process payroll (ADP), including verification of hours, deductions, and compliance with policies and laws
- Assist with and provide backup support for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
- Maintain and monitor lease records, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
- Prepare and post journal entries ensuring proper documentation and adherence to accounting standards
- Organize and manage financial and operational documents for easy access and compliance
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting workflows and systems
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with payroll processing (excluding benefits)
- Knowledge in purchase order management
- Familiarity with lease accounting and financial reporting
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and systems

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
