American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical position on an Acute Medicine Unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience and night shift availability.

Work setting is a hospital Acute Medicine Unit (Med/Surg)

12-hour night shifts, 7pm–7am, any day of the week

3 shifts per week

13-week contract

No on-call requirements

Active GA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications required (must not be expired)

Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required

Driver's License required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Former permanent staff who have transitioned to travel nursing must have a 2-year break from the facility before being eligible

Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront prior to offer acceptance — requests cannot be made after an offer is extended

EMR experience should be documented in work history
