JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training programs within the claims department. Serves as a key resource in developing claims staff, enhancing departmental processes, and ensuring continuous professional development. Collaborates with claims leadership to identify training needs, improve efficiencies, and drive innovation in training methodologies.
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop, implement, and oversee the department's training program, including scheduling, curriculum design, and training module deployment.
- Manage and maintain department training resources, including the creation, revision, and enhancement of instructional materials.
- Serve as a mentor and primary resource for new claims employees, facilitating their integration and fostering connections within the department.
- Lead and facilitate training sessions for both new hires and existing staff, ensuring alignment with departmental and company objectives.
- Partner with claims managers to assess training needs, develop targeted learning opportunities, and enhance employee performance.
- Coordinate and oversee continuing education initiatives for claims staff, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Analyze and refine claims processes and procedures, driving efficiencies and ensuring effective implementation across the department.
- Identify and address operational challenges, leveraging data analysis and problem-solving skills to recommend and implement improvements.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies relevant to claims operations and training methodologies, ensuring the department remains at the forefront of industry advancements.
- Provide leadership and support to claims adjusters by offering guidance and expertise in claims as needed.
- Communicate updates and progress on training initiatives and departmental projects to claims leadership and key stakeholders.
- Actively participate in discussions and decision-making through regular departmental and interdepartmental meetings.
- Lead and execute special projects as assigned, ensuring timely and effective completion.
- Complete other projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
List Degree Requirement, Years' Experience, and Certifications
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- Must be able to take and pass mandatory adjuster licensing requirements.
- Must have 3 years or more of claims technical experience.
- AIC/CPCU or other insurance-related coursework is desired.
