About the Role:
Affordable Metal Manufacturing is seeking an Estimator / Inside Sales Representative for our Production Facility located in Muscatine, Iowa. This role will be a customer-facing role when customers come in inquiring estimates or quotes, placing orders and picking up orders. Along with giving and taking estimates or quotes and orders by phone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Will be one of 3 people answering incoming customer calls
- Provide estimates / quotes to customers from small to large jobs
- Enter all orders into ERP System Paradigm
- Assist customers with any questions by phone or in the showroom
- Always provide excellent customer service
- Work closely with Office Manager for any billing / invoicing
- Process payments from customers by cash, check, or credit card
- Will report to Inside Sales Manager
Role Qualifications & Requirements:
- Maintain a positive, “can-do” attitude and stay busy when there is “down-time”
- ERP system required, Paradigm a plus
- Must have knowledge or experience with construction materials
- Construction knowledge of buildings or roofing is highly preferred
- Must be able to problem solve and have critical thinking skills
- Must have computer skills
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus but not required
Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
