Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
- Operate POS system to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety standards
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions
- Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring quality standards are consistently met
- Support sales efforts by recommending menu items and upselling when appropriate to enhance customer experience
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is highly preferred
- Proven customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude
- Experience using POS systems is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Strong communication skills to engage confidently with customers and team members
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
