As a Senior IT Architect, you will be responsible for the operational support, design, and maintenance of Infrastructure for regional workloads at Honeywell Aerospace. You will work in and support VMware, Windows & Linux Server Architecture & Administration, and Cisco networking stacks. This role also includes complimentary technology management of regional infrastructure such as physical network & backup infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational support of on premise and regional technology including virtualized workloads and networks
- Facilitate the implementation of new technology stacks and migration of workloads
- Provide escalation and supplier management to Site & Business
- Support the business case development, IT transformation, and service optimization initiatives
- Ensure full adoption and implementation of Honeywell Aerospace standards, tools, processes, and strict adherence to Honeywell policies
- Partner effectively across teams, suppliers and business customers on cross-functional projects and process improvements
- Participate in site leadership meetings as an on-site focal
- Bring business requirements to the greater IT team for review, solutioning and implementation
- Support incumbent projects to the site as well as Global Standardization initiatives.
- Travel as required for infrastructure deployments and support
