Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and friendly individuals to join our team as Weekend Servers, exclusively for guests aged 20 and up. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service in a fast-paced environment.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including food ingredients, wine pairings, and cocktail recipes to assist guests effectively.
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are followed at all times.
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed.
- Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently.
- Provide excellent guest relations by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving concerns professionally.
- Support beverage service by preparing drinks accurately and responsibly serving spirits and cocktails.
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask during busy shifts.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling sales transactions and making change confidently.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards in the food industry.
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding alcohol laws is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively on weekends in a lively environment while maintaining professionalism.
