Overview
Join our team as a Banking/Loan Credit Analyst, where you will support the loan officers in completing credit memorandums for new and existing bank relationships. Key responsibilities include inputting and analyzing financial statement data and interpreting the repayment capacity of borrowers. The position will report to the Senior Management of the bank and work closely with Senior Credit Officers to minimize risk and help grow revenue for the bank. The Credit Analyst will be crucial in completing timely annual reviews on all loan customers. Responsibilities
- Insure loan packages are complete according to bank policy
- Input and analyze financial statements and credit bureaus using primarily tax returns and additional financials provided
- Determine business and global cash flow of commercial borrowers
- Perform analysis on diverse types of collateral
- Assist lenders in determining the most appropriate loan structure
- Partner with bankers in completing credit memorandums for various sized businesses and requests
- Collaborate with Lenders and Senior Credit officers to complete annual reviews on large borrowers
- Perform monthly reports for past due loan customers and upcoming loan renewals, allocating appropriate credit reviews as needed
- Assist Senior Management with regulatory compliance
- SBA processing and monthly reporting
- Other duties as assigned
- Maintain a general updated knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act and how it impacts job duties and the overall function of our Bank. Implement effectively that knowledge into the day to day function of job.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Undergraduate degree with emphasis in accounting or finance, preferred but not required
- 2+ years in loan review, credit administration, accounting, or financial analysis preferred
- Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to prioritize and manage workflow under strict deadlines.
- Polished, professional business image is of utmost importance as this person will work with senior management and customers on an ongoing basis.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, with solid verbal and written communications, including the ability to interface confidently with senior executives.
- Salary commensurate with experience
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
